My career began in dance. After a decade as a dance artist educator, choreographer, and studio owner, I left studio life behind to earn an MBA. I worked as a marketer, manager and strategist with many arts and community organizations, as well as with the City of Ottawa’s cultural services and urban design teams.
Wanting to get back to being a practicing artist, I now find myself happily back in studio life, this time as an abstract visual artist. I am also a modern quilt designer-maker and over the past few years both my textile art and my paintings have become part of private collections in Canada and Germany. My work has been exhibited in juried national and regional shows, a local cafe, and at community centre and social enterprise galleries.
I divide my time to live and work in both Ottawa, Ontario and in Frenchfort, PEI.
